Week Three Term One

The term is now well underway. We have settled into our new routines, and what we are learning. In writing, we have been writing descriptions of our family pets and in topic - Recipes for Success- we have discussed our school rules and shared our interests with everyone. Swimming continues to be a big part of our day, where we are completing some lessons. Next week- we will be having the police visit to talk to us about road safety. On Thursday, there will a meet the teacher evening - Do come along and meet me. I look forward to introducing myself and showing you our currently learning.

Crazy Hats for Relay for Life

Thanks to many children wearing crazy hats and mufti, Lakeview School raised $318.00 for the Cancer Society. Yahoo! We are awesome!

Week One 2011

Welcome back to another year of learning. This week, room 19 has been settling into our new routines and getting to know one another. Reminder that swimming lessons are taking place every day and please ensure your child has their togs to enjoy Lakeview's wonderful swimming pool. I look forward to getting to know all our families.
