Week Eight

We have been discussing Fire as part of our topic. We have also been on school service with Room 10. We collected and sorted the school recycling - we just loved working with the big kids.

Next week is parent/teacher interviews- I am looking forward to sharing your child's progress with you.

Week Seven

Our focus this week has been to continue on with our topic of healthy eating, and we have had many great discussion about what is healthy and what is not. Swimming has now finished and we have started to work on small ball skills - starting with tee ball. We have had a lot of fun!!
Parent/teacher interviews are coming up on the 30th and 31st of March- I am looking forward to sharing your child's learning with you.. Please make a time to see me.

Week Six

We are very clever and have mastered a card game called "Make Ten". We are learning to instantly recall our facts to ten and then to 100. We have also been looking at healthy food as part of our topic. There has been a great discussion about what is healthy for our bodies. During art, we designed a plate of our favourite food. Enjoy our photos!

Week Five

We have had an action packed week with a visit from Constable Keely and Sue to help us with crossing the road safely. We also had our Junior Syndicate Biathlon, where Selina from Room 19 came third in the six year old girls race.

At our whole school assembly, Selina was awarded our class certificate for her on-going role modeling of our school value- Respect.

Next week, we are gearing up for our school Gala. We still need plastic bags, ice cream containers and items for our bottle raffle.
