Week Eleven - Term Three

This last week we have all been very tired but still we have had a complete green card week...... Mrs Whitehead is so, so happy!!!

Preparations are now underway for next term - we look forward to studying Animals around the world and of course the Rugby World Cup.

Everyone is looking forward to lots of sleep ins and good food.

Take good care of your children in the holidays, and will be looking forward to hearing of their holiday adventures next term.

One Hundred Days at School

On Tuesday we celebrated 100 days at school - we had a great day. We had a shared lunch, we painted 100 fingers, made a paper chain with 100 links and created a large flower with 100 petals.


Many of the kids said that it was the best day ever!!!

Week Nine Term Two

Week Nine
This week we had a visit from Gill Stewart who is a facilitator for Enviro-schools and she came and talked to us about Why it is so important to look after our planet - simply because we need it for air, food and shelter. Gill read us a wonderful story about the Maori Gods.

Also, this week at assembly we listened to our Baby Bees singing group. In the Baby Bees are Room 19's Alazhe', Anahera, Jayde, Keisha, Ashleigh-Rose, and Ngahuia. It brought tears to Mrs Whitehead's eyes - they sang like angels.
Week Ten we are looking forward to our 100 Days at school celebration.
